Sally Munro Nutritional Therapy

NUTRITIONAL THERAPY IN ABERDEEN, U.K.

A Holistic Approach to Health with Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy takes you on a journey towards identifying the root cause of current symptoms and make realistic, achievable adaptations in lifestyle factors—including food, drinks, movement, sleep and more.

One step at a time.

How to feel better?

By focusing on nutrition, digestion and lifestyle, you have the potential to transform your health, your life and your relationship with food.

Our bodies are incredibly smart at letting us know when something needs addressed. Symptoms are usually messages from the body to signal that we need to do something differently to obtain a better outcome. Nutritional therapy helps with this.

With so many different dietary models and trends, it has become harder for many to find a solution that works. Increased consumption of processed foods, decreased daily movement, prolonged periods of stress have led to a significant increase in diseases including chronic diseases.

We should be thriving in our lives, jumping out of bed in the morning after a great night’s sleep and enjoying consistent energy levels throughout the day. Sadly, this is becoming a rarity as people are fighting a constant battle with being busy, grabbing convenience foods and not prioritising their sleep.

The Process of Nutritional Therapy

Discovery Call

Let’s have a short conversation to discuss what you wish to achieve, if this is the right time for you to start your journey and whether we will be a good fit to work together. If you decide to go ahead you will be invited to complete a 3-day food diary plus a health and lifestyle questionnaire, where you will list any current and previous health concerns, future health goals, medications, etc.

Initial Consultation

In our 90 minutes, we will further explore the possible root causes of your symptoms based on your prep work. Post consultation, you will receive a report including food recipes and lifestyle plans as well as any recommended supplementation.

If further investigation is required via testing, this can be arranged via your GP or privately.

Follow Up

Four to six weeks after your first appointment, a 45-minute Follow Up session will give us the opportunity to review your progress since your initial consultation. Here we can discuss any amendments or additions to your protocol, where necessary, to continue to make positive changes moving forward. If you have struggled to implement any changes, we can look at these areas together.

Further Follow Ups can be scheduled if you require more support over a longer period of time.

Nutritional Therapy Consultations will be conducted over video conference call (Zoom).
A link will be sent ahead of the appointment start time.

Nutritional Therapy Testimonials

“Sally has helped me to achieve in a few weeks, improvements in my diet and weight that I have struggled (and failed) to achieve in the past 10 years. Her review was comprehensive, her advice straightforward and manageable, and she is generous with her time and encouragement. I wholeheartedly recommend working with her if you are looking to lead a healthier lifestyle.”

— RC

“Finding out you have high blood pressure at the age of 40 can be scary and with the only option from the GP being medication for the rest of your life we turned to Sally to deal with it a more natural way. Sally was great to deal with the initial questionnaire easy to complete and at the consultation Sally explained how different foods would aid and the vitamins required. The support that Sally has given has been amazing always at the end of a text if we are unsure and checking in to see how we are progressing. Working with Sally has certainly made us think more about nutrition and how what we put in our bodies effects how we feel. Looking forward to continuing the journey to better health.”

— JS

“Sally was friendly whilst knowledgeable and related to my lifestyle as well as my issues. All advice was totally doable, explained clearly and backed up with a realistic plan and manageable changes. Above all though, it worked! I’m healthier and feel and look a lot better and I am happy. I would really recommend Sally’s down to earth, caring and professional consultation. Thank you Sally.”
